You can’t make this stuff up. A few days ago an Applebee’s server posted the above receipt to Reddit. A rude and inappropriate response from what I would classify as a very selfish restaurant goer.

This morning, there was some horrific news of a shooting at the Batman screening in Aurora, Colo. At least 12 dead, dozens more wounded in this horrific event.

The pace of change on the web has always been fast. Even frenetic. In fact change is one of the few constants these days in marketing, media and PR. If things didn’t change that would actually be more shocking than if they continue to.
Most people walk on eggshells. They’re afraid to voice what they really think or do what will actually make change because, well, they don’t want to piss anyone off. They’re afraid of hurting someone’s feelings, maybe even getting fired by offering a divergent thought from a more senior team member or “the way things have always been done.”
