For example I studied creative writing and journalism in school and have taken a few PR classes throughout my undergrad due to interest. As a fiction writer, many of my fictional characters and settings are based off of real life experience. Not that I am writing autobiographically, but my creativity stems from everything I personally experience, view and how I perceive the world. To enhance this, like you said, one must get out there and live/experience and then apply it to their work.

Many people look for a solution to a creative block, but sometimes don’t realize that no solution is “one size fits all.” One of the most harmful threats to creativity is labeling yourself as “not a creative person.” But, like you said, living a life conducive to creativity is one of the most valuable things you can do!
