1. Even though you may be focusing your efforts on reaching an audience within on niche each platform will acquire slightly different groups all within that same niche.
2. Brand is about consistency. If you can keep you thoughts, information, instructions etc. all continuous across all platforms so that when someone follows your profile through twitter to your blog to your Google+ profile they will find a stream of constant information all resounding each other.
3. While you will be sharing very similar information you will be exposed to slightly different information from each platform.
