despite my criticism on that one post, which you took like a champ---I happen to think your words are gold.
T.S. Eliot says a true artist never borrows, he steals.
So I say, to Mr. Eliot and to Mr. Singer
Oh look look look, child look,
I doubt you believe
But you are a book
And I am a Thief.
Right on! Write on!

Adam,

despite my criticism on that one post, which you took like a champ—I happen to think your words are gold.

T.S. I went to a meeting with some marketing colleagues who are in my networking group. The writer and branding person are spearheading an effort to pitch a big new retailer coming to town. They think they can make the initial pitch WITHOUT bringing in the "social media person" [i.e., me]. What struck me is how "defensive" old style marketers are, holding on for dear life to the past when press releases and TV commercials were the way to announce a new arrival on the scene.
You talk about Social Media results taking awhile. Sadly, acceptance of the New Normal, i.e. the new marketing will take a great while as well.

Just curious, Adam . . .
