I don’t know if the design has much to do with it – if your content is weak people will just leave. Even if there are cute kittens and nice color schemes involved.

I agree with both of them, the content can make or break you. more of that than how the site looks. Sure, the look still has something to do with how long a prospect stays on your site, but content has more value.

Design is definitely a factor, especially if it’s design (or web design as in my case) that you’re promoting / writing about. Totally agree about content. It gives users a reason to return and share.
