Hello.
I am in desperate need of advice. PR/advertising/communications is my niche. As as soon as I hear about a celebrity scandal, potential movie, etc, idea come to me-commercial ideas, words for print, tees. I have tons of ideas saved in Word, on napkins, etc. If I would like to reach out to a professional for booking gigs, contract help, etc., who should I reach out to? entertainment lawyer? a writer's agent? Pls help. Tons of ppl have told me to do it alone, but I really like the help.
Thanks in advance

@ Adam, thanks for the ideas. I manage the company blog, trying to develop it more than just a bulletin board of updates. Want to make it have the feel of any other blog in the niche, having the more personal feel. Hoping that over time it can get some traction which can lead to sign-ups

As a PR person for a niche in the marine industry (which is a bit behind in social media to begin with) it honestly never occurred to me to pitch press releases to bloggers. I'm with Craig in that I'm finding it much more valuable right now to simply build relationships and "master" social media so I can bring that back to my marine clients and then try to work on building visibility for them in SM. Definitely agree that you have to blog in order to get it. Thanks for a great article.

Adam,
This is an amazing post that should be read by every PR professional. Number one takeaway: "only provide content that is both remarkable and marketable."
Great work!
