Great post!
I believe that today, more than ever, its so easy for us to get lost in the sauce. There was an article on abcnews.com that stated there are over 170 billion emails circulating per day, fastcompany.com reports that the average consumer is exposed to 3,000 ads per day and Wendy Cole from Time Magazine reported that we are interrupted approximately 56 times a day.
I guess when we look at all these things coming at our audience, we are really competing for attention and mindshare.

Being a leader is key to your success, a resume just doesnt cut it anymore. You need to brand yourself as not just a leader, but as a thought leader, someone who others will look to for answers and consistency. Anyone can start it with little to no experience just by creating a blog and constantly updating with useful tidbits about any topic. And if all else fails, make sure that you are on every social network possible, put yourself out there so you can be found! At http://www.Brand-Yourself.com we aim to establish a student’s personal brand early so they can get the job of their dreams and love what they do. By establishing an online presence to control what comes up in Google while staying true to their brand, they should have no problem getting the job they want and deserve. For more actionable tips to strengthen your personal brand on the web please go to our blog at http://blog.brand-yourself.com.
